Proteus wurde von Ultima Team und Weltklasseanglern entwickelt, und wurde speziell für das Wettkampf und Turnierangeln hergestellt. Proteus ist 100% reines Fluorocarbon und sinkt nicht nur doppelt so schnell wie normale Mono, sondern ist auch im Wasser praktisch unsichtbar. Proteus wurde mit einer mittleren Steifigkeit für präzises Gefühl beim Drill hergestellt. Besonders geeignet für das Wettkampfangeln wo jeder Biss die Entscheidung bringen kann. Mit seiner sehr hohen Knoten und Abriebfestigkeit ist Proteus auch besonders für Salzwasser Angler geeigent. Ein wirklich bemerkenswertes Produkt.
